Harrison seeks treatment at The Priory

Troubled Scott Harrison has checked into The Priory to seek treatment for depression and alcohol problems.

The World Boxing Organisation featherweight champion yesterday withdrew from a title defence against Gairy St Clair on Saturday. But his manager Frank Maloney revealed this morning that the 28-year-old Glaswegian has reluctantly admitted his problems and been admitted to the London rehabilitation clinic.

"Scott Harrison has been admitted to The Priory at 8am this morning for depression and alcohol problems," revealed Maloney. "There are obviously some issues and problems and I spent most of last night with Scott, his father and lawyer.
